The Bobsled
(Steiner Section of the B.S.T.)

Did you
watch the Salt Lake
2002 Winter Games, and wonder what it would be like to ride the bobsled?
Here's your chance to do it mountain bike style! The Bobsled is a fast, challenging,
one way drop off of the B.S.T.!! I've given the Bobsled a lower rating for
scenery, this is because you won't have time to take in the scenery beyond
your front tire! This ride starts with a good strong climb up Terrace Hills
Drive, then continues on up the B.S.T. to the City Creek Canyon saddle. From
here it drops down the pipeline and is pretty loose and torn up. After the
first 1/4 more or so, it turns into the high banked, swooping ride that it's
named for!
How to get there: Park at the corner of Terrace Hills Drive and 11th Ave. Head straight up Terrace Hills Drive until you reach a cul-de-sac, the trail begins on the right. It is marked with a B.S.T. signpost.
Length: 3.25 mile loop

handling skills on!
