Clayton Peak
(Brighton Ski Resort)

The climb to Clayton Peak is relentless from the very start!  It starts out steep and stays steep all the way to the top.  Clayton Peak tops out at 10,721 feet!! The views from here are incredible, from Mount Timpanogos, to Heber Valley and beyond to the Uinta's!

How to get there: From I-215, take Exit 6 (look for the signs for the ski areas). Head east to Wasatch Boulevard. At the second light, turn left up Big Cottonwood Canyon.  Follow the road until it ends at Brighton Ski Resort.  The trail begins next to the lodge on the east side of the parking lot.
