Days Fork

Days fork
is another of the old mining roads
that are so prevalent in the Cottonwood Canyons. Which makes it "one hell of a climb!"
Again, you will need "lungs
of leather and legs of steel" to climb all the way to the top of
ride! But as with most of the difficult rides along the Wasatch, you will
more then likely find solitude and some of the most incredibly beautiful
scenery around!! Don't let the rating or the climb scare you away
from this one!! It is worth the effort!
How to get there: From
I-215, take Exit 6 (look for the signs for the ski areas). Head east to
Wasatch Boulevard. At the second light, turn left up Big Cottonwood Canyon. The trail head is about 10 1/2 miles up the canyon. Park outside the Spruces
Campground.
