Dutch Hollow

Dutch Hollow is an incredible collection of interlacing singletrack trails (The Boneyard, Enchanted Forest, The Aqueduct, The Barrel, Burnt Ridge just to name a few) in the southeastern corner of the Wasatch State Park! The trails are relatively new, so they are very narrow (just the way singletrack should be!!). They are also very well marked, both with directions and difficulty signs. The technical difficulty in these trails are not big drops and tough climbs, but with the small things (which are usually the ones that bring us down!). The trails are very tight, with lots of close trees just waiting to snag your bar ends, the trail surface is littered with with tree roots and small rocks and stumps. But the overall effect is wonderful!!

How to get there: From I-80 east, take exit 148 (US-40) to Heber/Vernal, turn right 4.13 miles (at the stoplight) onto River Road. 2 miles down River Road look for a sign for Dutch Hollow Trailhead (Wasatch Mountain State Park). The trailhead is very well marked on the right hand side of the road.
