Gemini Bridges is an easier ride for the
Moab area. The reason I gave it a 3 rating is due to the long
climbs, both out to the bridges and then back to the trailhead, there
are also a few sandtraps to contend with as well as a little slickrock
challenge on spur to the bridges. The views on this ride are incredible!
Take a good map, there are lots of side roads up on top! It was
well signed the day we road, but I wouldn't trust the signs to always
be in place!
How to get there: This
ride can be ridden as either a "point-to-point" or an out
and back. I prefer the out and back. The trailhead is 10
miles north of Moab on Highway 191. Look for the parking area
on the east side of the road with the old mine car along side the train
tracks.
Length: 16
miles (as an out and back)
