Hidden Peak

(a.k.a. The Tram, The Widow maker)

Lungs of Leather, Legs of Steel???  Want to prove it to your family and friends?  This ride will do it!!  If you can make it to the top, you'll join an elite few.  Lots of people say they Mountain Bike, but do they really MOUNTAIN Bike?  Climb this mountain and you'll be able to say that you do!!   7,760' to over 11,000' in 4 miles!!  Steep, beautiful, unforgiving, incredible, ruthless, breathtaking (literally) these are just a few of the words that will come to mind when climbing Hidden Peak!  But the views from on top of the world are more then worth the effort!

Sports-am puts on an EXCELLENT race every August, for more info, click here.

How to get there: From I-215, take Exit 6 (look for the signs for the ski areas). Head east to Wasatch Boulevard. Follow the signs for Alta and Snowbird Ski Resorts up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Park in any of the Snowbird parking lots.  Snowbird offers an excellent free map of the area.  You can pick it up in any of the lodges.
