Horsethief Bench

Horsethief Bench is your trail if your looking for a fun, scenic, fast, open desert singletrack. You must give Horsethief Bench a try! A well deserved tip of the helmet goes to the Grand Valley Bike Patrol and all who helped develop this trail. The pace is fun, fast and furious! There are only a a couple of places that I got off and walked....you'll know them when you come to them. The rest of the trail is absolute fun! It's second only to the scenery along the Colorado River!

How to get there: Take Exit 15 (Loma) off of I-70. ( 4 miles west of Fruita CO, 63 miles east of Crescent Junction). Follow the signs for Kokopelli's Traihead.
