Sidney Valley / Lowder Pond Loop

Lowder Pond Loop is a great singletrack ride starting from Brian Head Peak and dropping into the Sidney Valley.  This ride starts at 11,000 feet and drops down (rather quickly) to about 9,500 feet.  You are then faced with a tough, steep climb back up to Sidney Peaks Trail. I would advise getting a marked "Topo" of the area! This trail is not to heavily traveled and the trail can be hard to follow at times. The views from Sidney Peak are incredible and more then make up for the hard climb!

How to get there: From Brian Head go south on Hwy 143 for 3.5 miles.  Turn left onto Brian Head Peak Road.   Go two miles to a parking lot on the left.  The trailhead is across the road on your right, it is signed "Sidney Peaks Trail"
