Ogden Bench
(Ogden section of the B.S.T.)

First off, a tip of the helmet is in order to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail Committee, because this trail is wonderfully designed, built and maintained! The Ogden BST is a wonderful singletrack across the foothills above Ogden City. The views are great, and the singletrack even better!! If you start at the Rainbow trailhead and travel south towards the Beus Canyon trailhead, the majority of the climbing is on the way out, leaving a great return trip, but the trail can be ridden in either direction, with plenty of "bailout" routes along the way. It has excellent signs, so don't worry about taking a map!!
How to get there: I recommend starting the ride at the North end. Take the 12th St. exit from I-15 and head east. Just before entering Ogden Canyon, there is a sign for the Ogden River Parkway. Turn right here, and park. The trailhead is across the street behind the Rainbow Gift Shop.
Length: 14 miles out and back

The B.S.T. Committee can't be everywhere, we all need to help out. Here Chance
is replacing a stone that had been knocked out of place. We all need to pitch
and help keep the trails open to Mountain Bikers!!
