Point Supreme

Point Supreme is another tough hill climb in Little Cottonwood Canyon! If it seems like most of the trails in Little Cottonwood Canyon are long, steep climbs, it's because they are!!  It's the nature of the canyon!  But it's also what makes it a mountain bikers paradise! The steep unforgiving terrain scares off all but the most dedicated bikers!  Leaving you alone in this incredibly beautiful canyon! Sure you'll have to share with the hikers, but even they are few and far between! This ride is like the rest in the area, long, steep, loose rock, eye popping scenery and very little oxygen! The views from Point Supreme are just that Supreme!!  It follows, in a round about way, the Supreme ski lift at Alta Ski Resort.

How to get there: From I-215, take Exit 6 (look for the signs for the ski areas). Head east to Wasatch Boulevard. Follow the signs for Alta and Snowbird Ski Resorts up Little Cottonwood Canyon.  Park at the end of road, after passing through the town of Alta. (Just before the guard shack).
