Shadow Lake

Shadow lake road is one tough, mean climb! You will gain about 2,500 feet in elevation with relatively few switchbacks. The last and final push up the ridge to the Summit House is a bear! From the Summit House you drop down into Shadow Lake.  The lake is set in the Jupiter Bowl area of Park City Ski Resort.  From here the climb isn't over, drop down again into the Thaynes Mining area.  Hang a right and climb back up to the ridge.  From here it is all down hill back to the trailhead!!!

How to get there: Go to the end of Main Street in Park City. Hang a right onto King Road, follow it up until it intersects with Ridge Road.  King Road will make a very sharp right hand turn, keep following it until you come to the gate.
