Snow Park Loop at Deer Valley
(a.k.a. "The Racecourse")

Snow Park loop at Deer Valley is one of those rare, blue ribbon singletrack loops that all mountain bikers are constantly searching for! Deer Valley has world renowned ski runs and lodges, and they are putting that same effort into their mountain biking trails! They want to become, and will, in my opinion, one of the best mountain biking destinations in the United States! Snow Park loop (a.k.a. the "racecourse") is proof of Deer Valley's commitment. Try it once, and you'll be coming back for more! The loop is composed of just the right amount of climbing and descending. It varies in terrain from buff singletrack to hair raising, endo inducing descents!! It is extremely well marked, and the scenery is spectacular! Combine this trail with Deer Valleys facilities and you do indeed have a world class summer resort!!
How to get there: Take exit 145 from I-80, stay on Highway 224 for 5.76 miles until you hit Deer Valley Drive, stay right on Deer Valley and follow the signs for Snow Park Lodge.
Mountain Trails Foundation has created an excellent map of the area. Get your copy at White Pine Touring, JANS, Cole Sport, the Visitor's Center, or the Museum on Main Street.
