Silver Fork
Silver Fork is just one the many
rides at Solitude! The resort has done an incredible job of opening
up trails for Mountain bikers! If your looking for great singletrack,
you will want to pass on Silver Fork, it is a gentle ride up a beautiful
canyon. We have seen moose up here on more then one occasion...one time
we encountered one standing right in the middle of the trail!! We
had no choice but to yield the right-of-way to him!!
How to get there: Head 12 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon to the Solitude Ski Resort. Park at the Upper Parking lot.
Length: 6 miles out and back
