Timpooneke Road
Timpooneke Road is has some great views of Mount Timpanogos and the Utah valley. The road starts out paved, then turns to graded dirt, then to a rough jeep road down to a meadow on Timp's western flank.
How to get there: From I-15 take exit 287 (look for signs for Timpanogos Cave) Travel east up American Fork Canyon. About 6.5 miles up the canyon look for signs for Timpooneke Trailhead and Campground. American Fork Canyon is now a "Fee Area" be prepared to pay $ 2.50 to enter the canyon.
Length: 17 miles, out and back
