Cascade Falls Loop

Rating: (out of 5)
Scenery: (out of 5)
Difficulty:
Length: 12 miles
Type: Loop
Surface: Singletrack
Description: Cascade Falls Loop is one of the "hard to find" singletrack rides! By that I mean, excellent signs on the trail, very well maintained, spectacular scenery, little to no other riders and just plain fun!! This along with the Cascade Falls Loop are a definite "must do ride" when in the area.
The Navajo Lake trail offers panoramic views of Zion National Park, the Kolob Plateau, and the Pine Valley Mountains. This a high elevation ride, the trailhead at the lake is at 9,200' and the trail goes up from there!
GPS Data: (Garmin .tcx or .gpx and Google Earth .kml) Garmin GPS and Google Earth files zipped together for easy download!
(You will need to use Connect.Garmin.Com or a similar process in order use the Garmin files. Most XML editors can read and modify the Garmin Files. If you need help with the files, contact us here.)
Directions to Trailhead: From Cedar City take highway 14 east up the canyon, follow the signs for Navajo Lake. Take the road around the south side of the lake to Te-Ah Campground. The trail is labeled both Navajo Lake Loop and Virgin River Rim Trail. Look for it on your left just before Te-Ah campground. When the singletrack crosses the road, turn to your right and follow the road around to Cascade Falls. You will see a sign for the Cascade Falls trail at the parking area
