White Pine Lake

White Pine Lake: one word comes to mind when thinking of this trail..."BRUTAL". The scenery is spectacular, and White Pine Lake is one of the most beautiful in the Wasatch Mountains. It is a hard earned reward, but worth the effort. The trail is a narrow double track, or wide single track depending on how you look at it!   It is very steep and rocky....all the way to the top!

How to get there: From I-215 take Exit 6 to Cottonwood Canyon Ski Areas. Travel south on Wasatch Boulevard. Travel 5.5 miles up Little Cottonwood Canyon to the White Pine Trailhead, parking is on the right hand side of the road.
